Karen has been in the real estate industry since 2007. While enjoying her role as a REALTOR®, particularly the clients she worked with during her 6 years, she gained experience and insight which has proved beneficial in her current position. After starting a family, work/life balance became paramount and Karen was thrilled to be able to transition into an administrative role at Home&Company. She’s found being part of a company from inception with a staff of 3, to now a thriving group of 15 has been exciting, rewarding and just plain fun (not everyone can say that about their job!) Playing a role in everything from administration to marketing to even the odd accounting responsibility has earned her the affectionate, while not ideal acronym of VPOO (Vice President of Operations). She appreciates working for a local, progressive brokerage which strives not only for professional excellence, but supports and encourages personal well-being and growth as well as prioritizing community involvement.
When Karen’s not working, she has a love-hate relationship with physical activity, has taken up golf(ing very poorly), travels not nearly as much as she would like and strives to savour the simple, every day with her husband and 2 daughters.
